SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
The Payroll Assistant is responsible for assisting the Payroll Director in the efficient and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll.
Maintains payroll information by reviewing, entering, and approving data into the timekeeping and payroll systems.

Responsibilities:
The Payroll Assistant shall have the following
Responsibilities:
1.
Maintaining weekly timecard review including exception slips, time off request forms, salaried timesheets.
2.
Updating payroll system with organizational or employee changes:
Timely processing of transfers, hires, and terminations.
Entry of W4 and direct deposit updates as required.
Provide back up for payroll processing in the absence of the Payroll Director.
3.
Payroll processes and reporting:
Assisting with auditing of payroll system data.
Maintaining tracking of documents received and outstanding.
Updating pay rates and employee information as required.
4.
Provide back up to other Payroll Assistant.
5.
Assisting with maintenance of time off accruals.
6.
Assist the Payroll Manager in other payroll, benefits and related duties.
7.
Other responsibilities as deemed necessary.
